About The Club
Wells City Archers was established in the mid-1960’s
and is located at Wells Sports Ground In the heart of Wells City. Our club currently has over 80 members.

Members can use our outdoor range at any time
- subject to it not being used for competitions, coaching or events.
Compound bows may not be used on the outdoor range.
See our Sessions page for details of times when many of our members shoot.

Membership
Membership is open to anyone over the age of 8 years who has completed a recognised archery beginners course.

You are welcome to shoot recurve, barebow, AFB, longbow, compound and horsebow for target archery.
Crossbows are prohibited, as are compound bows on the outdoor range.
We are affiliated to Archery GB (the national governing body), Somerset County Archery Association (SCAA), and the regional Great Western Archery Society (GWAS).
