About The Club
Wells City Archers was established in the mid-1960’s and is located at Wells Sports Ground In the heart of Wells City. Our club currently has over 80 members and we are proud to offer the use of an indoor range, an outdoor range, kitchen facilities, WC, Meeting area, kit maintenance area and club equipment.

Our members can become key-holders to the indoor range after a qualifying period, and hence be able to shoot at times that are convenient to them, including having use of the kitchen and facilities (including WC).
Subject to competitions, coaching sessions or events. compound bows are not permitted on the outdoor range.

Membership
Membership is open to anyone over the age of 8 years who has completed a recognised archery beginners course.

You are welcome to shoot recurve, barebow, AFB, longbow, compound and horsebow for target archery. Crossbows are prohibited, as are compound bows on the outdoor range.
We are affiliated to Archery GB (the national governing body), Somerset County Archery Association (SCAA), and the regional Great Western Archery Society (GWAS).
